He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Rex Glenn Smith Sr. and Claudia Maxine Brown Smith; his children, Lesli and Patrick; his daughter-in-law Abigail; his grandchildren, Andrew, Jessica, Michelle, Jeanette and Tony; and his great grandchildren, AJ and Bobbi. He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
