It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Peggy Jean Hudson of Pinehurst, North Carolina, born in Henry County, Virginia, who passed away on February 12, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Howard Housman and Frances Hodges Housman; her brother Jimmy Housman; her son James David Hudson; and her grandson Grayson James Fry.
She is survived by: her husband James Orville Hudson; her children, Ann Hudson Fry (Stephen Fry) and John Charles Hudson (Patrick O'Donnell); her granddaughter Kelly Elizabeth Fry; and her siblings, Norma Dillon, John Housman, Tommy Housman, Betty Billingsley and Bobby Housman.
Due to Covid-19, the family will hold a celebration of Jean's life at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests a donation be made in Jean's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude's Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
