It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Pamela Mixon Summerlin (Pinehurst, North Carolina), born in Lubbock, Texas, who passed away on August 11, 2022, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Charles Daniel Mixon and Lois Paxton Mixon; her husband C. Allen Summerlin, III; her children, Shelley Leigh Summerlin of Raleigh and Daniel Allen Summerlin of Raleigh; her sister Deborah Mixon Edgerton of Raleigh; her grandchildren, Charles Daniel Summerlin, Sarah Harper Summerlin and Paxton Smith Summerlin; her family, Kinston, Pam and Allen; and her friend Terry Hatch Nelson of Pinehurst.
Pam's wishes would be to offer support for First Presbyterian Church of Kinston or your local hospice center, in lieu of flowers.
