He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Newsome Sr. and Goldie Brown; his brother Jack Newsome (Lisa); and his former wife Dolores Ford. He is survived by: his wife Jutta Newsome; his children, Lester, Ronald and Rhonda (Al); his brother Henry; and his grandchildren, Kevin and Susan.
