It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Katherine Eugenia Crockett of Pinehurst, North Carolina, born in Salisbury, North Carolina, who passed away on May 29, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John William Frye, Sr. and Hannah Genoa Mills Frye; and her husband David Godwin Crockett. She is survived by: her daughters, Barbara Elizabeth Wood Harris (Jeff) of Durham, NC, Elizabeth Anne Crockett Henderson (Carl) of Swansboro, NC and Laura Lee Crockett of Aberdeen; her grandchildren, James David Harris, Ainsley Elizabeth Harris, Caroline Knight Henderson, John Crockett Henderson and Annabelle Lear Henderson; her brothers, John William Frye, Jr. of Texas, Robert Wesley Frye (Janice) of Greenville, NC and James Anthony Frye (Aldena) of Pinehurst; and her siblings-in-law, Charlotte Ann Crockett Hardenbergh and Frank Eddy Hardenbergh of California.
