He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Oxendine and Georgia Rae Maynor Oxendine; his son James Oxendine of Salisbury, NC; and his sibling Thomas Oxendine. He is survived by: his wife Adrienne McNaughton Oxendine; his child Jean Plaschke (John) of Urbana, MD.; his granddaughters, Nadia and Sophia Plaschke; and his siblings, Louis Oxendine, Magnolia Lowry, Ray Oxendine, Ruth Hurnevich, Robert Oxendine and Earl Hughes Oxendine. He is also survived by his children and beloved grandchildren.
