Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Gill Underwood of Pinehurst, North Carolina, who passed away at the age of 90, on September 5, 2021. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Underwood and Bertha Parrish Underwood. He is survived by: his wife Paige Lilley Underwood; his children, Corinne Underwood Buck of Pinehurst, Bonnie Underwood of Pinehurst and James Underwood (Nada) of Dallas, TX; his sister Helen Bailey of Clayton; and his grandchildren, Justin Buck, Ryan and Reese Underwood.
With the resurgence in the area of the Covid Virus, no formal visitation is planned; however, friends may speak with the family at the gravesite immediately following the service. Masks and social distancing measures are encouraged.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the building fund of Hertford Baptist Church, PO Box 34, Hertford, NC 27944.
