He was predeceased by: his parents, Matilda Pierce and Fred Pierce; his son David Allen Pierce; and his brother Tony Pierce. He is survived by: his wife Louise "Weezie"; his children, Mike Pierce II (Joanne) and Carey Ortman (Steven); his stepdaughters, Leslie Pogue (John) and Kellie Hollenshead (Bob); his grandchildren, Tobia Pierce (Jason Baker), Tryna King (Tim), Michael Pierce (Heather), Christina Nakanishi (Jack), Sam Ortman (Lisa), Daniel Ortman (Autumn) and Stephanie Grosso (Robbie); his great grandchildren, Taylor, TJ, Timothy, Mitch, Jackson, Carter, Jack Jr., S. J., Vance, Owen, Colin, Broden and Hayden; and his sister Jean Williams (Don).
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (300 Dundee Rd, Pinehurst, NC 28370). A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
