He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Boyd and Margaret Ellett Ross; his brothers, Neville and Jack; his aunt Esther; his uncle William Taylor; and his daughter Joan Messimer Ross.
He is survived by: his wife Sue Ross; his brother William (Betty); his children, Terri Rando (Joseph) of East Stroudsburg, PA, Thomas Ross (Kimberlee) of Mebane, NC and Kristen Bonoyer of Hope Mills, NC; and his grandchildren, Kristen Mode, Michael Mode, Joseph Rando, Emma Ross, Karl Ross, Madison Czerepak, Nicole Pell and Frank Rando.
