With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Esther Myers Sweeting of Pinehurst, North Carolina, born in Saint Louis, Missouri, who passed away on April 22, 2023 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Neta Myers and Edward Myers; and her husband Don Sweeting of Perry Illinois. She is survived by: her children, Anita Thompson of Lynchburg, Virginia, Donna Butler of Sunset Beach and Don Sweeting of Aiken; her sister Margie Smith; and her grandchildren, Charles Thompson, Lynn Engle, Chris Thompson, Ashley Eisenbrown and Trey Sweeting.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to First Tee of the Sandhills or Hospice House of Pinehurst.
