It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eli Alex Jaksic in Pinehurst, North Carolina, born in Gary, Indiana, who passed away on March 10, 2023, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ilija Jaksic and Julia Utzig Jaksic; his former wife Doris L. Jaksic; his wife Gladys M. Whisenand Jaksic; and his stepson Ronald Ray Whisenand.
He is survived by: his stepchildren, Linda Whisenand, Pat Martin (Paul) and Tricia Whisenand. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren.
