She was predeceased by: her parents, Alex Wallace and Ellen Wallace; her husband Edgar Scarboro; her son Everette "Hoss" Scarboro; her daughter-in-law Carol Scarboro; and her grandson Robert "Robbie" Scarboro II.
She is survived by: her children, James Scarboro (Juanita) of Aberdeen, NC, Robert Scarboro (Sandy) of Aberdeen, NC, Jerry Scarboro (Dianne) of Raeford, NC, Margaret Burns (Johnnie) of Pinebluff, NC, Kathie Samples (Mike) of Whispering Pines, NC and Linda Patrick (Tim) of Pinehurst, NC. She is also survived by Several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
