It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris Anne Moon (Pinehurst, North Carolina), born in Hamlet, North Carolina, who passed away on May 4, 2020, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Ralph Smith; and her brother Felton Smith. She is survived by: her mother Doris Smith; her husband Jimmie Moon; her son Mark Alden Moon (Danielle Renee Moon); and her grandsons, Aidan Christopher Moon and Colin Alexander Moon. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Due to the restrictions of COVID-19, a private service will be held at First Baptist Church of Southern Pines.
