He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Bolling and Anne Lora Colley Bolling; his daughter Rebecca Bolling Burchette; his granddaughter Sarah Elizabeth Burchette; and his siblings, Anita Bolling Fleming and J. Shelton Bolling.
He is survived by: his daughter Melanie Bolling Thompson (Mark) of West End, NC; and his grandchildren, Cody Jacob Thompson, Kelsey Rebecca Thompson and Jeffrey Nicholas Burchette.
