She was predeceased by: her parents, Chief Benjamin Oluwole and Ajayi Solomon Oluwole; and her siblings, Olufunmilola Oluwole and Margaret Olumorin Bamgbose. She is survived by: her husband James Obi; and her children, Theodora Funke Eirebamen (Fred), Olufemi James Obi (Nicole) of Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts, Olusiji Obi (Teshia) of West Covina and Uche Obi of Charleston.

In accord with COVID-19 guidelines, a private service will be held for her at The Village Chapel on Monday June1, 2020 at 11AM ET.
