He is survived by: his wife Janet Bailey Thompson; his children, David Warner Thompson, Karen Elizabeth Thompson (Lee) and Eric Cochran (Jessica); his sister Susan T. Adams; his sister-in-law Alice Thompson; his grandchildren, Miller, Reagan, Madison Thompson, Brady and Oliver Cochran; and his nieces and nephews, Michael and Bert Apple.
