He was predeceased by: his parents, Boyd Elmer Reynolds and Carrie Ellen Patterson Reynolds; his wife Caroline Williamson Reynolds; and his siblings, James Edward Reynolds and Jewell Mosher.
He is survived by: his children, Cynthia Holder (Joel) of Cameron, NC, Sandra Miller (Jeff) of Aberdeen, NC, Renee Short (Tim) of Carthage, NC, Roland "Davis" Reynolds Jr. (JoAnn) of Cameron, NC and Teddy Wayne Reynolds (Mary Kay) of Aberdeen, NC.; and his siblings, Judy Freeman (Elon) of Carthage, NC, Bobby Reynolds of Aberdeen, NC, Gary Reynolds (Gail) of Carthage, NC, Richard Reynolds (Linda) of Carthage, NC and Charles Reynolds (Norma) of Cameron. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
