She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Eugene Garretson and Lillie Mae Harvell Garretson; her husband Charles David Barber, Sr.; her son Charles David Barber, Jr.; and her brother Jerry Garretson.
She is survived by: her children, Shannon Leigh Patterson of Pinebluff and Aaron Michael Barber (Cathy) of West Virginia; her sister Peggy McNeill of Vass, NC; and her grandchildren, Todd, Tracey, Kevin, Keisha, Derek and Bethany. She is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren.
