He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Edgar Allen Sr. and Helen Short; and his brother Robert "Eddie" Allen, Jr. (Charm Allen). He is survived by: his wife Lee Ann Allen of Pinebluff, NC; his sons, Jeremy Allen of The Netherlands and Matthew Allen of Hickory, NC.; his grandchildren, Lucia and Nico Allen of The Netherlands; and his siblings, David Allen of Murrells Inlet, SC and Brenda Ransom (Chris) of Zebulon, NC. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
