She was predeceased by: her husband George Jackson Mallard; her brothers, Lionel Head and Roy Head; and her grandson Joseph Robin Mallard. She is survived by: her children, Steven Mallard (Lorraine) of Aberdeen, Michael Mallard of Fayetteville, Evie Marie Ferguson (Danny) of Shallotte, SC and Lori Jodele Jones (Jason) of Raleigh; her siblings, Gail Sheets of Milton, WA and Leslie Clayton Head (Betty) of Phoenix, AZ; her grandchildren, Kevin Ferguson, Alex Mallard, Alisa Vance, Jordan Riffe, Cassie Varga, Sonya Ferguson, Bonnie Lerner, Jacob Jones and Zoie Jones; and her great grandchildren, Annika, Rylan, Eli, Aszaviyo, Xandrean, Tyjah, Tyller, Nathan, Carmen and Bianca.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 6, 2018 at 3:00PM at Pinebluff United Methodist Church.In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to FirstHealth Hospice Foundation 150 Applecross Road Pinehurst, NC 28374.Services are entrusted to Boles Funeral Home of Southern Pines.
