With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Walter Ralph Edwards of Pine Level, North Carolina, who passed away on July 13, 2021 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William "Bud" Edwards and Thelma Tyner Edwards; his brother James "Pete" Edwards; his nephews, David Edwards and Keith Edwards; his wife Frances Thompson Edwards; his sons, Danny Edwards (LaVerne) of Princeton and Glenn Edwards (Vicki) of Selma; his grandchildren, Wesley Edwards (Dana) of Pine Level, Michael Edwards (Meredith) of Selma and Emily Gainey (Will) of Selma; his great grandchild Justin Edwards of Pine Level; his sister Shirley Ponder of Southern Pines; and his sister-in-law Joyce Pittman of Pine Level.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Pine Level First United Methodist Church.
