He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilburn Sorrells and Irene Sorrells. He is survived by: his wife Linda Pender Sorrells; his pet Remi; his son Jason Sorrells (Anne) of Charlotte, NC; his grandchildren, Jane Lowry, Lilly and Wade; his daughter Shannon Young (Timm) of Belmont, NC; his sister Becky Garrard of Wetumpka, AL; and his siblings-in-law, Eric Bradshaw (Jennifer) and Phyllis Pender. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
