He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Bennett and Audra Bennett; and his wife Nettie Tyner Bennett. He is survived by: his children, Ronald Bennett (Pam) and Kay Bennett Pate (Donnie); his brother Kenneth Bennett (Barbara); his grandsons, Brandon Pate (Megan), Chris Bennett (Isabella) and Dustin Pate (Bailey); and his great grandchildren, Aubrey, Avery Pate, Kylie, Stetson Pate and Greenly Collins.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the SECU Hospice House in Smithfield.
