We are sad to announce that on April 25, 2019, at the age of 79, Alice Pope (Pine Level, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ivey Thornton and Annie Belle Jackson Thornton; and her husband Linwood. She is survived by: her children, Charles Pope (Alicia) of Pine Level and Wanda Allen (Jerry) of Smithfield; her siblings, Bill Thornton of Smithfield, Jerry Thornton of Florida, Bryan Thornton of Raleigh, Glenn Thornton of Cary, Edith Britt of LaGrange, Lottie Corbett of Newton Grove and Ida Mozingo of Smithfield; her grandchildren, Taylor Bailey, Tyler Pope and Zachary Allen; and her sister-in-law Joyce Pope of Pine Level.
