It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Ray Medlin of Pine Knoll Shores, North Carolina, born in Durham, North Carolina, who passed away on March 5, 2023, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Steve Medlin. He is survived by: his mother Betty Medlin; his wife Julia Thomasson; and his sons, Eric and Robben.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the NC Aquarium Society.
