She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Odell Welch; her parents, Randolph Corns and Bessie Anderson Compton Corns; and her brother Kent Leroy Corns. She is survived by: her sons, Robert "Robbie" O. Welch, Jr. of Walnut Cove and Barry W. Welch of Madison; and her siblings, Larry R. Corns (Donna), Linda C. Corns (Anthony) of Stuart, VA. and Loretta C. Sheppard (Roger) of Stuart, VA.. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
