He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward F. Rogers and Nettie I. Rogers. He is survived by: his wife Rita Wright Rogers; his sons, Ronald E. "Ron" Rogers (Michelle M. Rogers) and Darryl W. Rogers (Diana O'Neal Rogers); his siblings, James A. Rogers, Katie Taylor and Lena Dodson; his grandchildren, Melissa Rogers Sherrodd (Zachary Sherrodd), Abby Rogers and Gracie Rogers; and his great grandchildren, David Sherrodd and Daniel Sherrodd.
