It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Wayne Tilley Sr. (Pilot Mountain, North Carolina), born in Stokes, North Carolina, who passed away on December 2, 2021, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Vance Carson and Bessie Louise Chilton Tilley; his daughter Deborah Tilley Voigt; and his brother Terry "Mack" Tilley (Yvonne Pack). He is survived by: his wife Lois Shelton Tilley; his children, Doug Tilley (Lisa) of Rural Hall and Doreen Tilley; his son-in-law Byron Voigt of Pilot Mountain; his grandchildren, Chris Voigt (Asia), Caitlin Voigt, Tiffany Tilley and Heather Tilley; his great grandchildren, Ireland Voigt, Trey Griffin, Britain Voigt and Zariah Osafo; and his brother Gary Tilley (Connie) of Dobson. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
Due to the ongoing threat of COVID, the family requests all attending the visitation and funeral, please wear masks.
