She was predeceased by: her parents, Hubert Overbay and Grace Jones Overbay; and her granddaughter Sarah Perkins. She is survived by: her sister Juanita Overbay; her close friend Mark Riggs; her daughters, Serena Perkins and Kimberly Melton; and her grandchildren, Makenzie, Whitney, Kaylin, Ericka, Brexton and Kameron.
