It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sarah Garner Arnold (Pilot Mountain, North Carolina), born in Union, South Carolina, who passed away on January 29, 2019, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Clifford J. Arnold; her brother Clarke Garner, Jr.; and her son-in-law Daniel J. Stone. She is survived by: her daughters, Lydia Arnold (Robert Carr) of Charlotte, NC and Sallie A. Stone of Pilot Mountain; and her grandchildren, Andrew J. Stone (Rose) of Winston Salem and Sarah Stone Yopp (Jay) of Pilot Mountain. She is also survived by three great-granddaughters.
