It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Linvill Phillips of Pilot Mountain, North Carolina, who passed away on April 3, 2021, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Marshall Glenn Phillips and Myrtle Jarvis Phillips; his daughter Myra Lynn Phillips; and his brother Marshall Don Phillips. He is survived by: his wife Frances Watson Phillips; his children, Lisha Phillips Snow (Tony G. Whittington) and David Glenn Phillips (Linda); his stepdaughter Fran Watson Spurlin (Corey); his grandchildren, Shea Snow Carter (Devin), Laken Phillips Royall (Joe), Kason Snow and Megan Phillips Cagigas (Johnny); his great grandchildren, Colton Royall, Carson Royall, Knox Carter and Saylor Carter; his niece Marsha Phillips Ebert (Chuck); and his nephew Derek Phillips.
Due to COVID restrictions, the family requests all attendees wear a mask and practice social distancing.
The family has requested in lieu of flowers that memorials be made to the Joan & Howard Woltz Hospice Home - 945 Zephyr Road, Dobson, NC 27017.
