Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Kent Smith of Pilot Mountain, North Carolina, born in Surry, Virginia, who passed away at the age of 75, on June 25, 2024. He was predeceased by: his parents, Nona Payne Smith and Robert E. Smith of Pilot Mountain; and his nephew Robert Kevin Jones. He is survived by: his children, Jennifer Smith Seamans (Brian) and Andrew Kent Smith (Laura); his siblings, Phyllis Smith Atkins and Mark Smith (Angie); his grandchildren, Elizabeth Grace, Benjamin Jacob and Rebecca Caroline Kramling; and his stepgrandson Derrick James Seamans. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
