He was predeceased by: his wife Effie Josephine Palmer King; his parents, John Harrison King and Linda Edwards; and his siblings, Bruce King, Barnett King, Claude King, Marvin King, Frankie Gwynn and Forrest Jones.
He is survived by: his children, David Brian King (Teresa), John Wayne King and Wanda Sue Goins (John); and his grandchildren, Sarah Orchulli, Adam Goins, Austin King, Bobby King, Casey King, Laken King and Andrew King.
