He was predeceased by: his mother Margaret Marie Adams Joyce; and his brother Junior Joyce. He is survived by: his father Paul Herman Joyce; his wife Anita Faye Carter Joyce; his children, Jason Andrew Joyce and Anna Marie Joyce (David Thomas McGee); his grandchildren, Alistair Winston Joyce McGee and Wren Elizabeth Joyce McGee; and his siblings, Rev. David Joyce (Brenda) and Linda Marie Fulp (David).
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the True Word Baptist Church (1405 Toms Creek Church Rd, Mt Airy, NC 27030). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
