He was predeceased by: his parents, John Joseph McCann Sr. and Grace Serbe McCann; and his siblings, Grace Shaffery, Rev. Thomas McCann and Charles McCann.
He is survived by: his wife Marie Scibona McCann; his children, Patricia Rutt (Charles), Colleen Rumplasch, Mary Sullivan (Joseph), Jim McCann, Thomas McCann (Katrina) and John McCann; and his sister-in-law Catherine Dante. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
