He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Jesse Brinkley, Bertie Brinkley, Porter Bottoms and Hazel Bottoms; and his parents-in-law, David Vanhoy and Bertha Vanhoy.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Vanhoy Bottoms; his parents, Lawrence Bottoms and Carol Brinkley Bottoms; his sister Sheila Poindexter; his brother-in-law Larry Poindexter; and his close friends, Rodney McDaniel, Dwayne Bryant and Karen Googe.
Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
