He was predeceased by: his parents, Gratsie James Sawyers and Nina Mae Bryant Sawyers; and his grandson Justin Collins. He is survived by: his grandchildren, Brannon Ballard, Misty Davis, Ashley Collins, Nolan Simmons, Kendall Pridgen and Brenner Pridgen; his great grandchildren, Dillon Ballard, Harper Ballard, Addison Davis, Austyn Davis and Malaki Murphy; his sister Frankye Hutchens Mr; and his wife Janice Love Moseley Sawyers. He is also survived by three daughters.
