He was predeceased by: his father Herman Collins. He is survived by: his wife Zelda Simmons Collins; his children, Elizabeth Brim (JR) and Eric Collins (Leigh Anne); his grandsons, Tyler Brim (Colby), Conner Collins (Elisabeth Mauldin) and Seth Brim (Victoria Kiger); and his great grandchildren, Ellie and Shep Brim.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in honor of Mr. Collins to the Woodville Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.
