He was predeceased by: his wife Joan Smith Paitsel; and his parents, Edward Preston Paitsel and Gertrude Angelina Boone Paitsel. He is survived by: his children, Monica Paitsel (Pam), Tina Bullington (Blaine), Edward Preston Paitsel, III (Elizabeth) and Dana Payne (Greg); his sister Betty June Nicely (Richard) of Fredericksburg, VA.; his daughter Virginia; and also Arthur Gray Marion (Elaine Van Auken). He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
