He was predeceased by: his parents, Edd Troyal Lindley, Sr. and Faye Simpson Lindley; and his siblings, Gertha Lindley Gibson and Michael Dewitt Lindley. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Howell Lindley; his daughters, Angela Hege Corns and Crystal East Truban (Nathan); his grandchildren, Robert Tyler Corns, Chaning Corns (Drew Martin) of Pilot Mountain, Brooklyn Truban, Katelyn Truban and Ashlyn Truban of Mount Airy; his great grandchild Luke Martin; his siblings, Edna Holland (Steve), David Lindley (Donna) and Danny Lindley; his siblings-in-law, Terry Howell, Benny Howell, Elizabeth Farley, Loretta Howell and Diane Lindley; and his close friend Deborah Hunter. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and cherished friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Building Fund at First Presbyterian Church, 316 East Main Street, Pilot Mountain, NC 27043.
