With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Donald Ray Watson of Pilot Mountain, North Carolina, born in Stokes, North Carolina, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Lee and Vernie Brim Watson; his significant other Cindy Polley; and his siblings, Hayward Watson and Linda Hardy.
He is survived by: his granddaughters, Isabelle and Sophia Ferguson; his sister Clercy Tucker; and his nephew Jason Watson.
In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Surry Longspurs Chapter NWTF Outreach Fund in care of Buffy Bryant 187 Ararat Longhill Road, Pilot Mountain, NC 27041. Memorial funds will be used by the Outreach Fund through the National Wild Turkey Federation to offer hunting and fishing opportunities to the disabled and youth.
