He was predeceased by: his parents, John Forrest and Lucy Culler Forrest; and his siblings, Mary Forrest Hicks, Barbara Forrest Goad, Lona Forrest Reynolds, Lee Irvin Forrest, Aldy Clyde Forrest, Johnny McArthur "Mac" Forrest, William "Bill" Forrest, Will Forrest, Joe Forrest, Richard Forrest, Ethel Forrest, Ruby Forrest, Nina Forrest and Frank Forrest.
He is survived by: his wife Anne Voris Forrest; his daughter Melanie Forrest Bodenhamer; his son-in-law Jason; his son Marcus Clay Forrest; his daughter-in-law Sarah; his grandchildren, Zachary Forrest (Caitlyn), Hannah Forrest Milem (Luke), Lee Bodenhamer and Jackson Bodenhamer; his great grandchild Jasper Forrest; his sister Sydney; and his siblings-in-law, Robert Ferris, Margie Forrest and Dillard Goad.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Bread of Life Church in Rural Hall, building fund, 1643 Rosebud Road, Walnut Cove, North Carolina 27052.
