He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Mauldin and Evelyn Mae Allen Edwards; his sister Patricia Ann Edwards; and his stepsister Joyce Hill. He is survived by: his wife Linda Clark Edwards; his daughter Jennifer Edwards McKinney; his son-in-law Jon; his son Joseph Richardson; his daughter-in-law Kristie; his grandchildren, Catherine Edwards, Kristen Richardson, Kerrie Richardson and Brandon McKinney of Chase McKinney, D. J; his sister Mary Ruth Goforth; and his nephew Craig Barrett (Sharon).
