He was predeceased by: his father Charles Everett; his son Michael "Hollywood" Sawyers; his grandson Ryan Stanley; and his siblings, Jane Sawyers Vaden and Donald Moore.
He is survived by: his wife Juanita Morrison Sawyers; his children, Nikki Dawn Sawyers Raboin, Eddie Wayne Sawyers (April), Charles Wayne Sawyers, Jr. (Robin) and Scott Clarence Sawyers; his grandchildren, Sasha Lopez, Savannah Bur, Logan Sawyers, Amelia Holt, Abigail Bobbitt, David Sawyers, Brandon Sawyers and Ethan Sawyers; his great grandchildren, Lily Lopez, Lilah Sawyers, Parker Bur, Noah Bur, Jack Wilkins, Wyatt Sawyers, Edison Holt, Flipp Holt, Boen Bobbitt, Cheyenne Masto, Ella Sawyers, Bristol Sawyers and Blakely Sawyers; and his sister Inez Sawyers Gwyn.
