She was predeceased by: her parents, James Sherman Scott and Bonnie Hunt Scott. She is survived by: her husband Larry Gene Hankins; and her daughters, Carol Newsom (Chris) and Lisa Passeno (Leon). She is also survived by five grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cox-Needham Funeral Home (822 W Main St, Pilot Mountain, NC 27041). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
