Bobby Walkup Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 23, 2025, at the age of 87, Bobby Walkup (Pilot Mountain, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Harvey and Delila Neal Walkup; and his siblings, Burton Walkup, Neal Walkup, Bill Walkup, Howard Walkup, Eunice Williams, Mary Frodge and Elizabeth Doneff.
He is survived by: his wife Rebecca "Becky" Walkup; his children, Gary Walkup (Rachel) of Kernersville and Lisa Sisk (Kevin) of Pilot Mountain; his grandchildren, Josh Walkup (Kristin), Jonathan Walkup (Jessica), Laiken Joyner (Michael), Ryan Sisk, Mary Hylton and Leah Taylor (Bryson); his great grandchildren, Ashlyn Walkup, Kailey Walkup, Harrison Walkup and Rhett Walkup; and his brother Harold David Walkup (Marie) of Fayetteville. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the First United Methodist Church of Pilot Mountain (210 W Marion St, Pilot Mountain, NC 27041). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the First United Methodist Church (210 W Marion St, Pilot Mountain, NC 27041).
