He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Guy Heath and Crystal Taylor Heath; and his siblings, Mary Lou McKenzie, Ronnie Heath, Jim Heath, Marvin Heath and Don Heath.

He is survived by: his wife Gay Gordon Heath; his sons, Bradley Scott Heath of Summerfield and Tracy Wayne Heath of Pilot Mountain; his siblings-in-law, Elaine Heath of Mount Airy, Arlene Heath of Pinnacle, Iris Bryant of Mount Airy and Julian McKenzie of Danbury; and also, Sandra Gwynn, Gene Gwynn of Pilot Mountain, Patricia Martin of Siloam and Geraldine Nunn of Thomasville. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and many friends.
