It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Billy Ray Johnson (Pilot Mountain, North Carolina), who passed away on May 3, 2018, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Mildred Stone Johnson; and his brothers, Ronald Johnson, Charles Johnson and Clifford Johnson. He is survived by: his children-in-law, Beth Dixon (Greg) of Wake Forest, NC and Donnie Johnson (Dana) of Jefferson, NC; his grandchildren, Sarah Larsen of Wake Forest, NC, Morgan Johnson Vasquez (Andres) of Jefferson, NC, Taylor Dixon Zundel (Jordan) of Wake Forest, NC, Greg Dixon Jr. (Danielle) of Hendersonville, NC and Tiffany McPherson (Clint) of Rolesville, NC; his great grandchildren, Blake Larsen, Hope, Tristan, Cameron McPherson, Mathias and Liam Vasquez; and his sisters-in-law, Bobby Johnson (Esther) of Mount Airy, NC and Larry Johnson (Linda) of Mount Airy, NC. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
