He was predeceased by: his parents, Wade R. Cornelius and Doris Taylor Cornelius; and his brother Wade L. Cornelius (Mickey). He is survived by: his wife Peggy C. Cornelius; his children, Allen Lakey Cornelius, Jr. (Kathleen) and Alesa Cornelius Hawks (Patrick); and his brother Kenneth E. Cornelius (Veona). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
