He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Moots and Bonnie Moots (Connor). He is survived by: his family Lord; his wife Vicky Moots (Spellacy); his children, Travis Moots (Julie) of Stella, NC and Jennifer Smith (Sam) of Afton, OK; his grandchildren, Thomas, Daniel, Colton, Savannah, Addie and Bennett; and his siblings, Renee McClintock (Roger) of Bradenton, FL, Ron Moots (Tina) of Lafayette, OH and Rory Moots of Arcadia, FL.. He is also survived by his family, friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Faith Free Will Baptist Church (1200 W Grantham St, Goldsboro, NC 27530). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial donations be made to the Debra Lee Myer teacher education scholarship at Southeastern Free Will Baptist College.
